History of Marketing

Origin of Marketing I

With academic fields, it is usually the way that something happens and just later on it is recognised by theoreticians. And the same happened with marketing! So let´s begin with marketing pracice!

...ok so let´s go to acadmists an year 1900.

Origin of Marketing II

20th century begins and marketing starts to be recognised and is established at universities. Let´s slowly go through what will occur in this time period, characteied with academic disciline!

Evolution of Marketing

Wait a second! It is better to spend few minutes on this video so we understand HOW they found out perspectives due to which they looked at different scholars and sorted out theories!

Non- Interctive/Economic Schools

The oldest one, beginning with focus on producer with very strong economic perspetive. Thus we mainly look at how our product is being perceived and look at the market from sellers point of view.

Interative/Economic Schools

We now strongly refuse that there should be no interaction. Hence we believe that we shall look at the relationship from both sides - how customer sees our product and also from sellers point of view!

Interactive/Non-Economic Schools

Let´s bring a new idea of interaction and its importance between buyer ad seller. So from now on, some behavioural and social sciences will raise in imprtance!

Non-Interactive/Non-Economic Schools

We know focus on society as a whole so still see social forces behind the market. But we don´t see things simple, but rather that there may be some envirnmental or political aspects that we should take into consideration!

Extended Framework

Nice table we have made and attached theories to it, is possible to be extended if we simply divide our interacton perspective to three parts!

...so what are those shools you have mentioned?

...so where to begin?

...so we keep economic, but move to interactive.

...ok, now the non-ecnomic ones.

...finally the non-interactive, non-economic!

...is it everything? No more evolution?
